Testimonials

"We completed an hours walk with Sara initially describing the aim of the memory walk which was to put everyday objects spotted around the walk into your house in an unusual or funny position. At the end of the walk, a recap was made as to what objects had been seen and where they were placed.

For anyone who is unlucky enough to have brain damage, I think this would be a good exercise when carried out regularly. We memorised 8 objects and one of us ended up with a bicycle in the bath! All of this thought process is excellent for brain stimulation along with conversation and interaction. The content was good for the first walk but obviously would need to get more tricky as time goes on."

“I was amazed at how well this simple but effective memory training method worked. It enabled me to learn a poem "off by heart" and I have no doubt that I will continue to apply this training to other situations when memorising text is required.

Sara is a patient and effective trainer who worked at my pace and enabled me to succeed in the task that I had set myself. I would recommend her service to others who are trying to improve their ability to memorise text.”

"With our diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, one of the symptoms can be poor memory. The memory training has helped us considerably by incorporating the memory palace into our exercise programme. Sara made the sessions both fun and educational."

“Memory training has taught me to use a part of my brain that I'd never used before and in a way that is useful to my every day activities. I've learnt how to be creative again and memorised numbers and objects in a fun way so that they stuck in my mind!”
